A land mysterious and far away. The lens flare denotes that this was either "taken" by a digital camera, or perhaps there's unfamiliarity with actual sun flares (sometimes seen as mistakes among older professional cameramen).

If it is morning, then the winged feline beast is out to begin its day with a hunt. If it is evening, then it is on its way home, or has spotted something of curiosity that beckons its presence.

Do its wings keep it aloft, or is this a "gliding" cat of somekind?

The ornately carved stone pillars denote some intelligent folks of some sort. As we are witnessing a winged feline, we can probably safely assume it to be some kind of fantasy world that has its basis in Earth myths of some culture. The arid regions would seem to point to a desert region. Perhaps some place resembling ancient Persia or Arabia. Perhaps it is a fringe rocky region akin to the Sahara.

Are there Djin? Magic carpets? Do the natives sail in Dows with lanteen rigged sails all the while on the rocky shores animal and animalistic intrigue abounds.

Excellent use of color. Not too strong, not oeverly muted. The haze effect is most excellent, and the formations of rocks have a kind of alien familiarityh. We know them to be geological and geophyhsical formations, but there may be some kind of intent behind their formation. Were they carved like the pillars? We don't know.

A very nice piece. Very intriguing <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
