A friend of mine does an interesting thing to get freelance work: if you know someone who needs a webpage project and you send that person to him, he will give you 10% of the total amount he charges. I think that's actually a good idea, so I am setting the same. Maybe what it's not a good idea is to set it here, since we all are doing the same, but well... who knows?

So:

If you know somebody who needs a painting/animation/storyboard/photomanip or so, and you sent them to me, I will give you 10% of what I charge.


RULES:


- You need to tell me first, like " Hi, I am _________ and someone is going to contact you soon to ask you for a painting/storyboard/cover/photomanip/whatever".

- That 10% is charged to the final client... so it's important for me to know beforehand that you are sending them with me.

- If the budget of the task is a fixed rate, I'll give only 5% , since I'd be unable to charge your money to the final client.

- Payment by Paypal




To avoid misunderstandings:

- I know perfectly what an Agency is. I am not asking you to do the research work of an agent, you don't need to chase for projects, only thing you need to do is to send people to me if they ask you, and earn 10% of the whole project just for saying "yes, I know someone who can do that".

- Don't chase for projects. Google and freelance.com works the same for everyone, and submitting bids to these sites doesn't guarantee anything. Odds are we both will only waste our time.

- No, I am not starving, I just think is a good idea to apply this. Is funny because several people end up thinking this when I talk to them about the idea, maybe because of the economic crisis.



By the way... how are you guys doing with that? Is your economy really affected?

Making reference to the Evanescence song which I love pretty much and was listening a while ago, title is there because there is just one week left of my DA year subscription. Again, thankssss to the one who bough it for me, who I never could know who he/she was since all DA notification mails arrive to the trash section of my inbox, and thus, are deleted immediately.

I love the way my account looks with it, I am not sure if I'd buy other by my own or go back to the old DA or enter a contest and try to get one, so I can move my lazy ass and shake the dust a lil bit, because I've been quite lazy lately. What should I do?

Yesterday I uploaded a wallpaper version from the Twilight poster, where I removed the girl and left just the vampire there. I though it was obvious that I DIDN'T the poster itself, so I didnt mention it on the artist comments, maybe I should have done it, whatever, now is gone and well I honestly don't give a crap. Cool for the ones who could download it.


What pisses me off is that they just removed my Death Note flash Animation , ya'know... the one with the cake over L's face, the hysterical laugh of Lighto and the PROPER CREDITS OF COPYRIGHT AT THE END AND EVEN AT THE DEVIATION TITLE.

I went to check the Copyright policies, as asked... and found that "It doesn't matter whether or not you've credited the proper owner, it's still considered copyrighted and you still need permission".

YeahRight... anyone out there who can give me the phone number of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata?? Need to ask them nicely some permissions.. maybe you could get me also the phone number of Matt Bellamy and Ville Valo, that would be also nice!
